On Wednesday, September 20th the Men's Golf Association held a Ryder Cup Tournament at Harbour Pointe Golf Club. There was a Red team Co-Captained by Johnny Harrell and Stan Koonce and a Blue team Captained by Joe Pillow. The Red team won the competition by a close margin of 15-13. It was a fun format. 2 man team match play alternate shot on holes 1 thru 6, 2 man team match play scramble on holes 7 thru 12. On holes 13 thru 18 it was an individual match play game.
This was a really fun event. Another great job by MGA Tournament Chairman Tom Caruso. Thanks to Stan Koonce for the raffle.
