The FH Karaoke Club brought 2023 in with their signature style....singing and dancing the night away. It was a very festive night in many ways. The Community Center was beautifully decorated, there was an abundance of fantastic food, and friends and neighbors gathered together to connect with each other and make memories.
This year marked the group's fifth New Year's Eve Party. The first party was held in 2016, but due to Florence in 2018 and Covid in 2020, there was a pause. As always, the music was provided by the amazing Tom & Dahlin' playing and singing everyone's favorite party tunes.
One tradition that continues each year is the Best Singer contest. This year the Best Male and Female singers were Bill Rivera and Joy Pikor, and the Best Male and Female runner-ups were Dave Archer and Catherine Ould. And the Best First Time Singer went to Steve Hustad. The Twist Contest was won this year by Gwendolyn Natusch and partner Russell Loetzer. Congratulations to all participants and winners.
The Karaoke Club meets on the last Saturday of every month, and everyone is always welcome. Singing is NOT required...you can sing along or sing alone! Feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks. Hope to see you next time!!
