Meet Freddie, an adorable English Springer Spaniel puppy! His owner, David Burns, shared some details about this cutie with us recently.
How did Freddie come into your life?
I happened to be going down the road towards Wrightsville Beach and saw a sign for English Springer puppies. The rest, so to speak, is history...
What led you to choose the name Freddie?
Freddie's full name is Freddie King, and he is named after the legendary Blues music singer and guitarist.
What are some stories you’d like to share about Freddie?
I took Freddie for his first swim on NW creek on the sandy area near the marina, and he went right into the water after a toy. A true Spaniel! He likes to take the chew toys I give him and bury them in the leaves out in the back of my yard. A few days later, he goes back to retrieve them when they are good and ripe!
What funny quirks does your Freddie have?
He is going thru all the true puppy phases, such as biting and chewing everything in site. But he is a sweet little boy and I am sure he will be a great dog and companion!
What are Freddie’s favorite things?
He like all of his 'squeaker' toys and likes to make music with them!
Anything else you'd like to share?
Life is an adventure with a Springer Spaniel puppy. I haven't been this tired in a long time!
