The Harbour Pointe Golf Club MGA held a Tournament on Wednesday, June 21. The game was a points game with a little different format. Each player would play six holes from Gold Tees, six from the Red Tees, and six from the Silver Tees. It was a great format, and fun had by all. The game was run by our dedicated and well-organized Tournament Chairman, Tom Caruso, and he was presented with a new Golf Bag as a gift from the MGA players that MGA President Dave Lange and Treasurer Stan Koonce presented.
We had two amazing accomplishments in week 17. Mr. Caruso set an MGA record with a Closest to the Pin on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This has never been accomplished in the HPGC MGA! Also, the popular veteran, Frank Aiuto, shot a gross score of even par 72 for the week! This was the first time Frank's Golf score matched his age. He shot 72 at 72!
