Informal "Shoot Out" 18-hole golf is available to women on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the year. From mid-November through mid-March, when our HPLGA pauses, we add Thursday Winter (Shootout) Golf. We draw balls to determine teams for some competitive game. Since we use net scores for our team play, having a USGA handicap is necessary.
To join in the fun, contact the captain(s) of the day(s) you want to play to add your name and email to her contact list. When you receive each week's emailed invitation announcing the available times assigned by the pro shop, "reply all" if you'd like to play. No need to respond if you are not playing. On the play day arrive ½ hour before the first tee time. Bring a golf ball, a dollar for the game, a quarter for the closest to the pin prize, and a few dimes and nickels. (We pay for long putts and chip-ins within one's foursome/threesome.)
We are golfers with a wide range of abilities. We play for fun within USGA rules, and you are welcome to join us!
