Will you be a candidate for POA Director?

Three (3) openings are available on the Fairfield Harbour Property Owners Association (FHPOA) Board of Directors for 2023. Any property owner in good standing, at least 21 years of age, can self-nominate or nominate another property owner as a candidate for the Board of Directors.

On or about March 1, an FHPOA Call for Candidate/Nomination Notice was included with the annual billing and mailed to all property owners. It identified the necessary forms and the availability of candidate packets. If you have any questions regarding a position as Director of the Property Owners Association or wish to obtain a 2023 FHPOA “Notice of Intent to Become a Candidate/Nomination Packet," don't hesitate to get in touch with the FHPOA at 902 Coral Reef Drive, New Bern, NC 28505 by Email at fhpoagen@suddenlinkmail.com (please put Candidate in the subject line); or call 252-633-5500 or FAX 252-635-2154 with your request. You may also "sign in" to the member’s portion of the POA website (www.fh-poa.com) to download the forms by going to “Documents” – “Election Guidelines & Applications.”

As in all elections, persons may campaign at any time, but to be officially placed on the ballot, completed forms must be submitted to the POA Office no later than May 1, 2023, by the close of business at 4:30 pm EST.

The Schedule of Events for the election of directors and the annual meeting is posted below. If you want to become a candidate and want your picture and vitae to be published in The Beacon, it is your responsibility to provide that information, via electronic file, to FHBeaconNews@gmail.com (please put Candidate in the subject line) by May 12, 2023.
