Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Saturday, May 10th 2025 marks the 32th anniversary of one of America's great day of giving - The National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
So, each year on the second Saturday in May, letter carriers and rural carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations from our customers. These donations will stay in New Bern, N.C at RCS at 919 George Street.
Over the course of 30 years history the drive has collected well over 2.00 billion pounds of food, thanks to a postal service universal delivery network that spans the entire nation including Guam and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The need for food donations is great. Currently, more than 42 million Americans are unsure where there next meal is coming from. Our food drive is crucial most food banks and pantries really receive most of there donations Thanksgiving and Christmas. By the time spring and summer come the supplies are low.
Participating in this year's Letter Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is simple, Just leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox May. 10, 2025 Saturday and your letter carrier or rural carrier will do the rest. With your help, let fight to end hunger as we celebrate our 32th anniversary year in America's great day of giving.
