Initially, this year’s budget included money to clear the site behind the community center in preparation for the relocation of the POA Maintenance building. This new location provides operational synergy due to its proximity to the Golf Maintenance building. This relocation gives our two maintenance departments the ability to share resources and removes the equipment from the flood zone, which is currently at the end of Broad Creek Road. The dollars allocated for constructing the new POA Maintenance building will move to the time frame when the fiber project winds down and the space becomes available.
