On Saturday, September 17, 2022, Red Sail Park was the scene of a sea of black and gold as residents proudly displayed their loyalty to the Steeler/Pirate/Penguin nation.
There were many conversations about local landmarks and foods that are native to the Pittsburgh area. Old and new residents enjoyed meeting each other and sharing memories of their hometowns and marveling over what a small world it is. Craig Myler conducted a Trivia quiz of fun facts.
The committee was led by Janice Myler and included volunteers Sam and Delle Curry, Carlene Mount and Craig Myler. They did an excellent job coordinating the covered dish lunch which included western PA beans, haluski, halupki. Kolbassi and sauerkraut, walnut and poppy seed rolls among other delicious dishes.
Fans are looking forward to a new football season with a new quarterback – Go Steelers!!!!
