New STOP signs will be coming soon to Caracara at the intersection of Pelican and Caracara. Two stop signs will be added to Caracara, thereby making the intersection of Pelican and Caracara a three-way stop. The goal is to have the new signs in place by October 1, 2023.
We hope the new signage will make this intersection safer for our community. People have complained to the Safety and Security Committee and the POA that there are many that do not currently stop for the sign on Pelican at Caracara. Please be reminded to follow the new speed limit of 30 mph and come to a complete stop at every stop sign.
